Everyone seeking assistance is asked to complete an application form, so that HBCF can assess their situation and decide upon the most appropriate support.
To qualify for help, applicants must:
have income and capital (or savings) below the threshold set by the welfare committee each year and have been resident in France for at least two years.
The HBCF asks everyone seeking assistance to ensure that they are receiving their entitlement to pensions and allowances from the French and UK authorities.
Confidentiality is respected at all times.
If an applicant's profile or the type of aid requested does not fall within the scope of the HBC's charitable aims, the welfare committee try to suggest other organisations that may be able to help.
